How to read the bands
Each logged score is colour-banded using the same working rule of thumb from our scaled scores explainer: below 60% raw, the live scaled score is unlikely to qualify; 60–75% raw sits in the qualifying band but depends heavily on age and cohort difficulty; above 80% raw is very likely to qualify with a comfortable margin. These are bands, not promises — a single paper is one data point, which is exactly why tracking several over time matters more than any one score.
